The book (Activities Commemorating the Demolition of the Caliphate 1439 AH-2018 CE) reviews the activities called for by Hizb ut-Tahrir in the month of Rajab of this year 1439 AH - 2018 CE on the occasion of the painful anniversary of the criminals' elimination of the Caliphate. The party called for public mass activities in all the countries in which it operates, reviewing the global activities organized by its youth, which included (conferences, seminars, vigils, demonstrations, marches, dialogue tables in front of universities, and intensive visits to people in their homes, shops, and places of meeting and gathering, distributing leaflets, press releases, and brochures). These activities included (the Blessed Land of Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, Pakistan, Turkey, Britain, Jordan, Tunisia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Tanzania, the Netherlands, America, Syria, Indonesia, Lebanon...).

مقدمة / Introduction

By the grace and favor of Allah, the noble companion Mus'ab ibn Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) was able, in a short period, to bring the light of Islam into the minds and hearts of the people of Medina. There was not a house in Medina that did not mention Islam. Medina, especially after the Second Pledge of Aqaba, the pledge of war, the pledge of sacrifice and redemption with life, wealth, family, descendants, and positions in support of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the pledge of governance, became prepared for the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his assumption of power, and the establishment of the first Islamic state. Therefore, the people of Medina, before his migration (peace and blessings be upon him) to them, longed to meet him, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and counted the days, even the hours and moments, for his arrival (peace and blessings be upon him). They would go out in groups, men, women, elders, and children, to the outskirts of Medina, watching for the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and stay there until the sun rose and the heat intensified, and they could not find anything to shade them, so they would return to their homes and then repeat the process on the same day... and so on for days until the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived to them, and established the first Islamic state among them. Yes, this is how the Muslims in Medina were. Those of them who were strong and powerful said: How long will the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) be chased in the mountains of Mecca? So they would go out to him and pledge allegiance to him to support him and establish the first Islamic state in their country, and fight the black and red of people to protect it and defend it. Therefore, when they heard (may God be pleased with them) of his arrival (peace and blessings be upon him), five hundred men of them went to their weapons and went out to meet him. As for the civilians among them - if one may use the term - men, women, elders, and even children, they were in constant motion preparing themselves to play their role in supporting Islam, and waiting for the arrival of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with eagerness, to be happy to meet him and be strengthened by Islam, and to be shaded by the banner of Islam, under the shade of the Islamic state, which continued to rule by Islam and spread goodness throughout the world through da’wah and jihad, until the disbelieving colonialist West demolished it on 28 Rajab 1342 AH, 3 March 1924 CE, led by Britain, and with the help of traitors of the Arabs and Turks, foremost of whom was the criminal Mustafa Kemal, may God give him what he deserves.

خاتمة / Conclusion

In conclusion, we say: The Islamic State is not a fantasy that plays with dreams, because it has filled the aspects of history for thirteen centuries, so it is a reality. It was so in the past, and it will be so in the near future, God willing, because the factors of its existence are stronger than time can deny, or can struggle against. Today, it fills enlightened minds, and it is the wish of the Islamic nation that is thirsty for the glory of Islam. The Islamic State is not a desire that dominates souls out of passion, but it is an obligation that God has enjoined upon Muslims, and commanded them to fulfill, and warned them of His punishment if they fall short in performing it. How can they please their Lord when they seek honor from other than God Almighty and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and the believers?! And how can they escape the punishment of the Almighty, the Exalted, when they do not establish a state that prepares armies, protects borders, implements the limits of God, and rules according to what God has revealed?! Therefore, it is necessary for all Muslims to establish the Islamic State, the Rightly Guided Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood, because there is no influential existence of Islam except through the state, and because their countries are not considered a land of Islam in the jurisprudential term unless they are ruled by the Islamic state. And the conclusion of the conclusion is that the Caliphate is an obligation, and what an obligation, by which Islam and the Muslims are honored and disbelief and the disbelievers are humiliated. We affirm what the Emir of Hizb ut-Tahrir, the great scholar Ata bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah, may God protect him, said: (Yes, the Caliphate is the commodity and the craft, it is the honor and the strength, it is the protector of religion and the world, it is the origin and the chapter, by which the rulings are established, the limits are set, the conquests are opened and the heads are raised with the truth... and the history of the Caliphate speaks of this, so where is Byzantium and its scepter? And where are the cities and the emperors? Then who extended the voice of Takbir in those areas extending across the length and breadth of the earth from the ocean to the ocean if not for the Islamic state, the soldiers of Islam, and the justice of Islam? If the Caliphate knew of a land beyond the two oceans, east and west, it would have plunged into their depths calling to God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the Almighty, the Wise...) This is how the Caliphate is, and this is how the honor of Islam and the Muslims is, so we call you, O Muslims, to work to fulfill this great obligation by establishing the Rightly Guided Caliphate. [Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Majesty, above what they describe. And peace upon the messengers.
