مقدمة / Introduction

We are now in the heart of the real battle, between the American project of total hegemony over the capabilities of the nation and the political joints of life in the countries of the Arab revolutions, and the great Caliphate project. There is no doubt that the issue of the Islamic Caliphate, and its return once again as a ruling system for Muslims in the world, is the most exciting issue now in the political arena, and has become in the crosshairs of the tails of the West in our country, from secularists and those who are influenced by the disbelieving West. The essence of the Caliphate issue lies in its ability to unite the scattered Islamic nation into one political entity, and who among the nation does not wish to be one of the subjects of that great state which, after its establishment, needs only a short time to seize the initiative and become the first state in the world? The history of this great nation is strongly present in every aspect of its life; it sees it in the monuments spread in every spot of its lands, and it hears it from the preachers of the pulpits every Friday, when they recount to it the biography of the great caliphs and mujahideen, starting from the Rightly Guided Caliphs and passing through Omar bin Abdul Aziz, Harun al-Rashid, Saladin, Qutuz, Baibars, Muhammad al-Fatih, and Sultan Abdul Hamid. It still repeats whenever a tragedy befalls it, or its honor is violated, or its sanctities are desecrated, or its land is usurped, the famous saying: "Wa Mu'tasimah!" (Oh, Mu'tasim!), dreaming of a Caliph like Mu'tasim who would repel the deceit of its enemy, because its memory still remembers the hadith of its Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The Imam is but a shield, behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected."
