مقدمة / Introduction

Politics is the care of the nation's affairs, internally and externally, and it is done by the state and the nation. The state is the one that directly carries out this care practically, and the nation is the one that holds the state accountable for it. The state's care of the nation's affairs internally and externally is done by implementing the principle internally, and this is domestic policy. As for the state's care of the nation's affairs externally, it is its relationship with other states, peoples, and nations, and spreading the principle to the world, and this is foreign policy. Understanding foreign policy is essential to preserving the state and the nation, and it is a fundamental matter to be able to carry the Da'wah to the world, and a necessary action to regulate the nation's relationship with others correctly. Since the Islamic nation is obligated to carry the Islamic Da'wah to all people, it is necessary for Muslims to connect with the world with an awareness of its conditions, an understanding of its problems, a knowledge of the motives of its countries and peoples, following the political actions that are taking place in the world, observing the political plans of countries in their methods of implementation, in how they relate to each other, and in the political maneuvers that countries carry out. Therefore, it was necessary for Muslims to realize the reality of the situation in the Islamic world in light of understanding the global international situation, so that they can discern the method of action to establish their state and carry their Da'wah to the world. However, it should be clear that the position of states does not remain constant in one state; it changes according to changes in international conditions. The position of each state is not bound to a single state from an international perspective, but it is traded by multiple states in terms of strength and weakness, in terms of strength of influence or lack of influence, and in terms of the disparity of the existing relations between it and the states, and the difference of these relations. Therefore, it was not possible to give broad, fixed lines to the international stance, and to give a fixed idea of the position of any of the states in the world. Rather, a broad line can be given about the international stance in a certain period, with the assumption of the possibility of changing this stance. And to give a specific idea of the position of any state in certain circumstances, with an understanding of the possibility of changing this position. Therefore, a politician cannot do without following the political actions existing in the world, and linking them to his previous political information, so that he can understand politics correctly, and so that he can know whether the international position is still as it is or has changed, and so that he can realize the position of each state, and know whether this position has remained the same, or has changed. The change in the international stance is due to the change in the position of some countries from one state to another, either by its strength, or by its weakness, or by the strength of its relationship with the countries, or by the weakness of this relationship, which then results in a change in the international balance; due to a change in the balance of power existing in the world. Therefore, understanding the position of each of the countries that has an impact on the international stance is the basis for understanding the international stance. Hence, attention was focused on being familiar with information about each state; because it is the first pillar of political understanding. And knowing the position of each state is not related to its position in the international stance, but it is related to everything that has to do with its internal and external politics. Hence, it is imperative to know the idea on which the policy of the existing states in the world is based, and which has a significant concern in the position that the Islamic nation should take from it. It is also imperative to know the plans and methods it uses, and that knowledge of the plans and methods be accompanied by constant follow-up of them, and by understanding the extent of their change, and by awareness of the motives that led to their change, or the reasons that forced these countries to change the plans and methods, with correct knowledge of the things that affect these countries, or cause them to change their plans and methods.

خاتمة / Conclusion

As for the method of creating political awareness in individuals, and creating it in the nation, it is political education in the political sense, whether it is education in the ideas and rulings of Islam, or following political events. So it is educated in the ideas and rulings of Islam, not as abstract theories, but by applying them to the facts, and following the political events, not as a journalist follows them to know the news, nor as a teacher follows them to acquire information, but by looking at them from a special angle to give them the judgment he sees, or to link them to other events and ideas, or to link them to the reality that is happening in front of him of political actions. This political education, with the principle and with politics, is the method of creating this political awareness in the nation and in individuals, and it is what makes the Islamic nation undertake its main task, and its original function, which is to carry the Da'wah to the world, and spread guidance among people. Therefore, political education is the method of creating political awareness, among the nation and among individuals. Hence, political education in the Islamic nation must be on the widest scale, for it is what creates political awareness in the nation, and makes it grow a crowd of creative politicians.
