The UN's failure to officially declare famine in Gaza does not change reality!
The News:
The number of hunger victims in Gaza is increasing under the siege, while warnings of the expanding scope of famine are mounting.
Despite the frequent images, news, and videos that reflect the magnitude of the tragedy, the United Nations has not yet officially declared famine in Gaza, claiming a lack of accurate data and sufficing with warnings!
Comment:
It is strange how our world is today. Although it is flooded with images, data, daily reports, videos, social media, and other things that reflect reality, the United Nations organization has been unable to officially declare famine in Gaza due to a lack of statistics, according to its claim, and the inability to collect accurate data due to the siege!
The sun can never be covered by a sieve, and the declaration of the United Nations, or lack thereof, does not make a difference. The frequent news that reaches us every day about the martyrdom of infants, children, and adults from hunger, and about the long queues in which the people of Gaza stand to get scraps of food, and the images of children whose weak bodies have prominent protrusions, are sufficient to reflect the tragedy and famine that the people of Gaza are experiencing. The disaster is too clear to be hidden.
Are rigid technical considerations given precedence over urgent humanitarian considerations, especially with the existence of clear, visible, real-world evidence?!
Those who know the truth about international organizations and their role cannot ignore the existence of political considerations that prevent the issuance of such a declaration. The United Nations has never been immune from political balances and international pressures. Previous experiences have shown that the decisions of the Security Council, or referrals to the International Criminal Court, or even some of the United Nations' own reports, have always been subject to bargaining or disruption under the weight of political deals or pressure from influential countries!
Can the United Nations, America's arm, be expected to act against its interests, be objective and impartial, and support the people of Gaza, while America's hands are stained with the blood of martyrs and it is complicit in what is happening and it is the one that feeds the Jewish entity with the ingredients for its survival and steadfastness?!
The organization's delay in declaring famine reflects a moral failure in the face of a disaster documented with sound and image, and the truth will remain clear to all despite their claims. The images of children dying of hunger, the images of families searching for flour in the garbage, and the images of aid queues that were deliberately bombed, all of that will remain stuck in people's minds and documented on the world's screens, and they will never be able to falsify reality.
