Press Release

Democracy does not sanctify lives or property

(Translated)

Once again, post-election violence swept through Tanzania for several days starting on October 29, 2025, causing loss of life and extensive damage to both private property and public infrastructure. Since the first multi-party presidential elections were held in Tanzania in 1995, the recurrence of violence following them has been successive and continuous every five years. However, this year's violence is enormous and widespread, even surpassing the painful violence that occurred in 2000, in which more than 40 opposition supporters (United Front) in Zanzibar (semi-autonomous islands) were killed by bullets, more than 600 people were injured, and about 2,000 people fled to neighboring Kenya.

Violence is inherent in democracy and its elections since its establishment as follows:

1- Democracy is the governing system of capitalism built on only one criterion in actions, which is "interests." That is, a person acts or refrains from acting to obtain an interest. It is not surprising that supporters of democracy, whether in government or in the opposition, act or encourage others to act in a way that guarantees their interests. Based on this principle, all democratic parties do not aim to serve the welfare of the people, but rather are economic channels for politicians, either by consuming public subsidies, waiting for appointments, consuming colonial aid, or indulging in donations from benefactors, etc.

2- The democratic system supports Machiavelli's evil and satanic idea, which says that "the end justifies the means, and the means justify the end." This means that in a democracy, anything can be done, such as killing, inciting sedition on religious and ethnic grounds, lying, or anything else, no matter how harmful, provided that the desired goals are achieved. In principle, there is no legal or illegal concept in democracy, what matters is what leads to the achievement of their goals.

3- The West introduced pluralistic democracy for its own interests, not for the interests or progress of our countries, as many see it, to the point that some people got confused, lost their great hopes, wasted their time, and tired themselves to death, waiting for change. Rather, the West introduced it as a conspiracy and deception by changing the face of the regime, as they realized that the people had had enough and that there was growing discontent due to the harshness of the one-party system that they (the West) protected. This system was brought as another tool to promote neo-colonialism by distracting people from seeing things from a principled perspective. Instead of fighting the evil capitalist principle, they devote their energies to false solutions to change the faces of the rulers. Moreover, in many cases, Western countries, through this system and other pretexts, incite civil strife and violence to pave the way for exploiting their resources. Good examples of this are: Sudan, Congo, Yemen, Somalia, and others.

It is clear that such a system cannot avoid continuous conflicts and disputes and continuous violence, and it is a fragile system, but above all it suffers from its inability to serve humanity fairly.

It is time for every diligent and enlightened person who seeks real principled change to refrain from participating in or supporting corrupt democratic chauvinism. Muslims have a duty to adhere to the correct Islamic method of change as taught by the Prophet ﷺ, by establishing the Caliphate state, starting from the Islamic countries. As for non-Muslims, it is time for them to explore the alternative Islamic system and its method of change, then embrace it, and renounce the corruption and deception of democracy.
