Trump's Criticism of India... American Interests, Not Pakistani Friendship
US President Donald Trump announced on July 30, 2025, a series of retaliatory tariffs against India, criticizing it for having "the most exhausting and obnoxious non-monetary trade barriers," and imposed a 25% tariff on it in addition to a fine. While Trump acknowledged the "friendship" with India, he strongly criticized it for buying Russian military equipment and cheap oil, while the United States was busy pressuring Russia to end the war in Ukraine. In an unusually public rebuke, Trump described the Russian and Indian economies as "dead" and warned former Russian President Medvedev to "watch his mouth."
These seemingly contradictory positions of the American President confirm in fact that America, whether led by Trump or others, has no close friend but its interests. If it befriends someone, it is to serve and achieve its own interests, not out of inclination to the other party. In this context, it is clear that Trump is acting according to this fact, but with the nature of a global gangster and bully who demands that his clients and states under him, such as India and others, submit completely to him. He shows verbal praise to everyone who flatters him and bows to his will, and does not hesitate to demean and insult others who try to rebel against him or are slow to show obedience and submission to him due to internal pressures they have. This Trump policy is the true face of America, as the global leader of liberalism and secular capitalism. This doctrine is what has driven Trump over the past six and a half months to get a better deal that serves only the economic and geopolitical interests of America.
America has long considered China and Russia as its main adversaries. Therefore, it is working with all the tools of pressure and agents at its disposal to confront and thwart the efforts and policies of international groupings led by China and Russia, such as the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), and others. Therefore, America has invested heavily in its relationship with India since the late 1990s to use it to contain China. This strategic cooperation is still ongoing, as successive Republican and Democratic administrations have provided India with high-tech military technology, a civil nuclear agreement, and opened Western economic institutions to India. This inclination is not for the sake of India's beautiful eyes, but to fatten it up and exploit it in confronting its opponents in the region, China and Russia.
The Trump administration will not change the strategic direction between America and India aimed at containing China, but it is dealing with India within a policy of carrot and stick. Imposing tariffs, fines, statements, and bullying is the stick that Trump uses against his client India so that it makes greater efforts in serving him and opening its domestic economy further to create opportunities for American companies. In this process, Trump also uses Pakistan to pressure India. This is the reason for his pretense of "inclination" towards Pakistan and his threat to Modi to destabilize his government in order to meet his demands on a faster timetable.
O Loyal Officers in the Pakistani Armed Forces: Do not be deceived by America's public criticism of the Modi government or by Trump's praise of Pakistan. For the creed of disbelief is one, and Allah Almighty has confirmed this in His saying: ﴿And those who disbelieve are allies of one another. If you do not do so, there will be fitnah on earth and great corruption.﴾. The truth is that the strategic partnership between America and India is still strong and targets Pakistan and the Muslims of the region, and we must not forget how the Trump administration deceived the Iranian regime in nuclear talks to pave the way for the Jewish entity to strike Iran's nuclear facilities. Trump has stated in many media interviews in the past about the threat of Pakistani nuclear weapons and their Islamic nature. Former US Deputy National Security Advisor John Vinier also stated in a speech at a prominent American research center in October 2024 that Pakistan's long-range missile system poses a threat to America. Therefore, American institutions and intelligence continue to consider Pakistan a threat to them. We saw how the Trump administration provided diplomatic support for the Indian attack on Pakistan in May 2025 and pressured Pakistan's obedient rulers to exercise restraint in the face of Modi's aggression. Had it not been for the bravery of our lions and falcons in the armed forces who forced Modi and Trump to defeat, the consequences would have been dire.
O Officers in the Pakistani Armed Forces: The Muslim world is going through a critical juncture these days, and the temperature of the street has reached its peak due to the genocide being carried out by the Jewish entity in Gaza with the support of America, which requires the unification of the Islamic countries under the Rightly Guided Caliphate. The only obstacle preventing this is your hesitation to overthrow the thrones of the rulers who are Trump's agents, and to give victory to Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish the Caliphate. Today, the opportunity is ripe to establish the Caliphate, so do not miss it, lest you regret missing it, and lose the glory of this world and the bliss of the Hereafter. ﴿Respond to your Lord before a Day comes which cannot be averted from Allah. You will have no refuge on that Day, nor will you have any denial [of your misdeeds].﴾.
