A Deceptive Preacher Attacks Moroccans for Glorifying the Ritual of Sacrifice
News:
A video recording was circulated on social media of an Eid al-Adha sermon in one of the cities of Morocco, in which the preacher reprimanded people for violating the order of the King of Morocco not to slaughter sacrifices this Eid.
Comment:
It is not strange that the henchmen of the Sultan and his sheikhs come out to rebuke the people and attack them for violating the orders of their benefactor, for this is their job and for this their master brought them close to his court and made them in his entourage and showered them with gifts and positions, just as Pharaoh promised the magicians if they defeated the Prophet of God Moses, peace be upon him, and refuted his argument. But what is strange is that this obsequious preacher volunteers to attack people and threaten them sometimes with poverty and sometimes with punishment because they glorified the ritual of sacrifice and did not pay attention to the king's order, which was angered by the glorification of this ritual! Instead of congratulating them and blessing them on their Eid and enjoining them to do good and forbidding them from evil, he attacked them and deceived them and falsely accused Abu Bakr and Omar, may God be pleased with them, and likened his benefactor to these two great men who lived and died for the sake of Islam, and if his kingdom had one characteristic of the characteristics of Al-Farooq, may God be pleased with him, he would have done as he did when the prices of goods rose in the city and people grumbled, so he brought them from outside the city and threw them into its markets and prices fell automatically. The preacher continued his speech, deluding people that they, Abu Bakr and Omar, ordered people not to sacrifice, instead of clarifying that they did not sacrifice for fear that people would think that sacrifice is an obligation, as mentioned by Al-Bayhaqi.
Let this preacher know that by being obsequious to the king and volunteering to defend him, he will be among the lowest of the low who mend the world of others by corrupting their religion or who sell their religion for the world of others, as Imam Malik said to his Imam Rabia Al-Ray, may God have mercy on them. And we call on Muslims not to listen to these rulers who are fighting the rituals of Islam and working to obliterate them, like the habit of the King of Morocco, who does not celebrate Eid al-Fitr and al-Adha with all Muslims, but this year he added the crime of preventing sacrifices! We ask God Almighty to grant this nation a righteous and just caliph who works to exalt the rituals of God and helps his nation to exalt them.
