Press Release
NATO Office in Jordan is a Surrender and Mortgaging of the Country
To Serve the Colonial Interests of the Nation's Enemies
Jordan and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) signed an agreement in Brussels on Thursday, June 12, 2025, to host the Alliance's diplomatic liaison office in the capital, Amman. The agreement was signed on behalf of Jordan by the accredited ambassador to NATO, Yousef Al-Bataineh, and on behalf of the Alliance by the Special Representative for the Southern Neighborhood, Javier Colomina, who praised the distinguished relations with Jordan, appreciating Jordan's hosting of the office and Jordan's pivotal role in the region, as a reliable partner of the Alliance in multiple fields.
A previous decision by the Council of Ministers in its session held on May 4, 2025, chaired by Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, stated that the approval of an agreement with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization comes in line with the interests of the Jordanian state and its orientation towards opening a headquarters for the Liaison Office of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, in order to attract the largest possible number of international organizations to make the Kingdom a center for international and regional organizations.
The Alliance had approved the establishment of a liaison office for the Alliance in Jordan at the NATO Leaders Summit in Washington in 2024, which is the first liaison office in the region. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs affirmed at the time that the decision to open the office represents "a milestone in the deep strategic partnership between Jordan and the Alliance, and praises its extended achievements in combating cross-border threats such as terrorism and violent extremism."
This international military alliance is based on hegemony, expansion, and colonial control of the West, led by America and Europe, and fueling local and regional wars that have made the world in endless conflict and tension. It was founded after World War II when 12 founding countries signed the North Atlantic Treaty in 1949 with the aim of protecting European countries from the danger of the Soviet Union at the time. After the Warsaw Pact ended with the fall of the Soviet Union, it should have been dissolved, but America was keen to continue it to maintain its hegemony over Western countries, especially the European Union, and also to use it against other countries, and created pretexts for its continued existence, such as (the war on terror), i.e. Islam. NATO concluded so-called partnerships and alliances with tactical understandings such as the Middle East understandings and the Istanbul Alliance, and even advanced individual partnerships with some countries such as Jordan, achieving strategic interests for NATO, which has become a colonial tool in the hands of America.
As for the role of the NATO office in Amman, it was stated by the Secretary-General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, that "Jordan is a long-term and highly valued partner for NATO," and the regional spokesperson for the US State Department, Sam Warburg, indicated in an interview with the Jordanian News Agency on the sidelines of the previous NATO summit activities, that his country appreciates the vital role that the Kingdom plays for stability in general in the region. These statements by officials in NATO and America indicate that the regime in Jordan is playing the role assigned to it since its establishment as a functional entity to protect Western colonial interests, foremost of which is enabling the Jewish entity and preserving its existence as an interest and spearhead for Britain and then America and Europe in achieving their colonial projects and preventing the nation from achieving its renaissance project by establishing its Islamic state, the righteous Caliphate state. The Jordanian regime's failure to support the people of Gaza is a glaring example of this dependency and the services for which Jordan's role is increasing in harnessing its capabilities and its people to serve the colonizing infidel by opening a NATO liaison office.
The regime was not satisfied with a joint defense agreement with America and established military bases for it and Europe and allowed thousands of their soldiers to be stationed on its territory, the only goal of which is to protect the Jewish entity and the colonial interests of the West, which is what is meant by the desired cooperation that can be imagined from opening a liaison office for NATO, to serve its interests in hegemony and control, and harnessing its security, military, logistical and cyber capabilities, so that America can devote itself to its competitive and hegemonic wars.
The regime has gone too far in placing Jordan at the center of danger, and in harnessing its capabilities and forces to defend its enemies and wage war on Islam and its advocates. It silenced mouths and cracked down on everyone who revealed its truth with arrest, abuse and torture, and mobilized a group of betrayers, whom the nation knows, to beautify its collaboration and ugly deeds. What the military alliances, most recently the NATO office, are doing on Muslim lands in terms of security and cyber cooperation and military training such as the Eager Lion exercises in Jordan for more than ten years, and the security and military agreements they conclude for bases, airports and ports, gives them practical experience of great importance, the results of which are reflected on the lives, blood and sanctities of Muslims, and makes the countries of disbelief have authority over the land of Islam, which leads to a reduction in the state's sovereignty over its lands, and this is not permissible according to Sharia because it gives the disbelievers a way over the believers, i.e. authority, and this is forbidden by Islam.
﴿And Allah will never give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them].﴾
