So that the milk does not spill
A young man came to a Sheikh and asked him, saying: I am a young man with many desires, and I cannot stop myself from looking at people and girls in the market, so what should I do?
So the Sheikh gave him a cup of milk filled to the brim, and instructed him to deliver it to a certain place, passing through the market without spilling a drop of milk from the cup, and summoned one of his students to accompany him on the way and beat him in front of all the people if any of the milk spilled!
Indeed: The young man continued on his way through the market carrying the cup of milk to the required destination without spilling a single drop of milk.
When the Sheikh asked him how many scenes and how many girls he had seen on the way?
The young man replied: Sheikh... I didn't see anything around me. I was afraid of being beaten and shamed in front of people if I spilled the milk!
The Sheikh said: That is the case with the believer in his journey to God. The believer fears God and the shame of the Day of Resurrection if he commits a sin. In this way, the believer protects himself from sins, so he is always wary of them.
