The Messenger of God would hardly leave his gathering without making these supplications
Yahya bin Ayyub told us, from Ubaidullah bin Zahr, from Khalid bin Abi Imran, that Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, would hardly leave his gathering without making these supplications: "O God, apportion to us fear of You that prevents us from disobeying You, and obedience to You that conveys us to Your mercy, and certainty that makes the calamities of the world easy for us. And grant us enjoyment of our hearing, our sight, and our strength as long as You keep us alive, and make it the heir from us, and make our vengeance upon those who oppress us, and grant us victory over those who are hostile to us, and do not make our calamity in our religion, and do not make the world our greatest concern, nor the extent of our knowledge, and do not give authority over us to those who will not have mercy on us."

And send blessings, O God, upon our master Muhammad and upon all his family and companions.
Peace be upon you, and God's mercy and blessings.
