Precious Fruits
Do not aspire to salvation with a lack of sincerity in acts of obedience
May Allah reward a people who hastened to seize the times, and made up for their slips. Their eyes are occupied with tears instead of forbidden things, their tongues are imprisoned in the silence of doom, their hands are restrained by fear from desires, and their feet are bound by the chains of accountability.
The night finds them crying out with voices, and when the day comes, they spend it cutting off pleasures. How many desires they did not achieve until death.
So wake up to join them from these slumbers, and do not aspire to salvation with a lack of sincerity in acts of obedience, and do not hope for deliverance while you are persisting in destructive sins. Allah Almighty said: ﴿Do those who commit evil deeds think that We shall make them like those who believe and do righteous deeds?﴾ And He said: ﴿Shall We treat those who submit [to Allah] like the criminals?﴾.
