No one disobeys God until his mind is absent!
Some of the predecessors said: No one disobeys God until his mind is absent, and this is obvious, for if his mind were present, it would prevent him from disobedience while he is in the grasp of the Lord Almighty or His subjugation. He is aware of him in his home and on his carpet, and His angels are witnesses to him, looking at him, and the preacher of the Qur’an forbids him, and the preacher of faith forbids him, and the preacher of death forbids him, and the preacher of hell forbids him. What he loses by disobedience of the good of this world and the hereafter is many times more than what he gets from the joy and pleasure of it. So, would a sane person dare to underestimate all of that and trivialize it?
