The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever spends a surplus expense in the way of God, it is seven hundredfold, and whoever spends on himself and his family, or visits a sick person, or removes harm, then a good deed is tenfold like it, and fasting is a shield unless he breaks it, and whoever God Almighty afflicts with a calamity in his body, it is a remission for him." Narrated by Ahmad

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
