Whoever does not ask God, He will be angry with him
Ibn Majah narrated in his Sunan from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whoever does not ask God, He will be angry with him."
And in Sahih Al-Hakim from the hadith of Anas, may God be pleased with him, from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: "Do not be helpless in supplication, for no one perishes with supplication."
Al-Awza'i mentioned from Al-Zuhri from Urwa from Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "God loves those who are persistent in supplication."
And in the book of asceticism by Imam Ahmad from Qatada, who said: Muriq said: "I did not find an example for the believer except for a man in the sea on a plank of wood, so he calls out, 'O Lord, O Lord,' perhaps God Almighty will save him."
And among the afflictions that prevent the effect of supplication from occurring is that the servant hastens and finds the response slow, so he becomes weary and abandons supplication. He is like one who sows a seed or plants a tree, and he takes care of it and waters it, but when he finds its completion and attainment slow, he leaves it and neglects it.
And in Bukhari from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "The supplication of one of you will be answered as long as he does not hasten, saying, 'I supplicated, but I was not answered.'"
And in Sahih Muslim from Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "The servant's supplication will continue to be answered as long as he does not supplicate for sin or severing ties of kinship, and as long as he does not hasten." It was said: "O Messenger of God, what is hastening?" He said: "He says: 'I have supplicated and supplicated, but I do not see that I am being answered,' so he becomes weary at that point and abandons supplication."
