Gems of Fruits
Who is he who does not drink from his cup?
| It is time, so be patient, there is no blaming time | We have no escape from the plan of death | |
| And there must be a cup of death necessarily | Who is he who does not drink from his cup? | |
| The wise man does not inhabit this lowly world | If the one who builds lives in it will be destroyed | |
| And Ali denounced it in his speech | And divorced her, and the ignorant fool proposes to her | |
| And when he came with the jug and the people were present | He said to them, O men, be amazed | |
| Indeed, this jug contains sermons | For the admonished one who fears the darkness of the grave | |
| How many a mouth and kohl-lined eye are in it | And a smooth cheek that was desired and sought | |
| And how many a great figure whose bones have become | A vessel, and from it water is drunk, O people | |
| And it is transferred from one land to another as a gift | What wonders after decay it becomes estranged |
May God bless our Prophet Muhammad and all his family and companions
Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you
