Gems of Fruits
Imagine yourself, O conceited one
Imagine yourself, O conceited one *** on the Day of Resurrection, when the sky churns
When the sun of the day is folded and brought near *** until it is above the heads of people
When the stars fall and scatter *** and are changed after light into darkness
And when the seas explode out of fear *** and you see them seething like hell
And when the mountains are uprooted *** and you see them moving like clouds
And when the pregnant camels are neglected and ruined *** the houses are empty, with no one inhabiting them
And when the wild beasts are gathered on the Day of Resurrection *** and say to the angels, "Where are you going?"
And when the pious Muslims are married *** to fair-eyed houris adorned with hair
And when the buried infant is asked about her case *** and for what sin a wealthy man killed her
And when the Almighty folds the sky with His right hand *** folding the record of his decree
And when the scrolls are spread and scattered *** and the veils of the believers are torn
And when the sky is stripped away from its inhabitants *** and you see the celestial spheres revolving
And when Hellfire is kindled *** it has a roaring for the sinners
And when Paradise is adorned and perfumed *** for a youth who is patient throughout tribulation
And when the fetus is attached to its mother *** fearing retribution and with a terrified heart
This is a fetus fearing without sin *** so how about one who persists in sins for ages?!
