Greed Has Shackled the Tongues of Scholars
One of the scholars said: As for our time, greed has shackled the tongues of scholars, so they have become silent because their actions do not support their words. If they were truthful to God, it would be better for them.
If we look at the corruption of the flock, we find its cause is the corruption of the kings.
If we look at the corruption of the kings, we find its cause is the corruption of the scholars and the righteous.
If we look at the corruption of the scholars and the righteous, we find its cause is what has taken over them of the love of money and status, the spread of fame, the influence of words, flattering creatures, and the corruption of intentions in words and deeds.
If one of them wants to denounce one of the flock, he cannot do that.
