Fulfilling the need of a Muslim brother is more beloved to me than a month of seclusion
It was narrated from Al-Hasan Al-Basri, may God have mercy on him, that he used to say: Fulfilling the need of a Muslim brother is more beloved to me than a month of seclusion.
A man asked him, what is good character? He said: Giving, forgiving, and enduring.
He used to say: A man’s honor is: the truthfulness of his tongue, bearing the burden of his brothers, giving good to the people of his time, and refraining from harming his neighbors.
