The Finest Fruits
A Story with a Lesson
It is said that a destitute woman lived with her only child in a small room on the roof of a building. The room had no roof, only four walls and a door.
She was content with what God had allotted to her and her child, and she often pleaded with God Almighty to hold back her water in her sky and to protect her from the evil of the rain.
The days passed... and winter passed, then winter again, and things were fine...
One day, the sky became overcast with clouds until they accumulated and the sky became black from the severity of these clouds... and the water began to fall little by little until the matter became unbearable...
The woman was confused about what to do?
She was guided to an idea that would protect her from the water... so she removed the door of the room from its place and leaned it against the wall of the room and hid with her child between the door and the wall, and then the child spoke with the innocence of childhood, saying to his mother: Poor people, O mother, who do not have a door like the door of our room to protect them from raindrops...
The woman hugged her child to her chest.. because he imagines that he is happier than others.
O God, grant us the innocence of this child, trust in what You have, and good reliance on You, and do not make us forget Your saying: (Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure).
O God, bless our master Muhammad and all his family and companions.
Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
