Choice Fruits
And Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills
Whoever thinks that he can overcome leaving misdeeds and sins without a firm and established faith is mistaken. If the lamp of faith is strengthened in the heart, and all its directions are illuminated by it, and its light shines in its corners, that light spreads to the limbs, and is sent to them, so they hasten to respond to the caller of faith, and submit to it willingly and humbly, without being reluctant or unwilling, but rather rejoice in its call when it calls them, just as a man rejoices in the invitation of his beloved benefactor to a place of honor. He is always anticipating his caller, and preparing to meet him. And Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.
