قال أبو حاتم: العقل دواء القلوب ومطية المجتهدين وبذر حراثة الآخرة، وتاج المؤمن في الدنيا وعدته في وقوع النوائب، ومن عدم العقل لم يزده السلطان عزا ولا المال يرفعه قدرا، ولا عقل لمن أغفله عن أخراه ما يجد من لذة دنياه، فكما أن أشد الزمانة الجهل كذلك أشد الفاقة عدم العقل.

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
