Precious Fruits
People are Three
God Almighty said in His witnessed verses: {And how many generations We destroyed before them who were greater than them in strength, and they searched throughout the lands. Was there any place of escape? Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present.}
People are three: a man whose heart is dead, that is the one who has no heart, so this verse is not a reminder for him.
The second: a man who has a living, prepared heart, but he is not listening to the recited verses with which God informs about the witnessed verses: either because they are not received, or because they reach him but his heart is preoccupied with other things, so his heart is absent, not present, so he also does not receive the reminder despite his readiness and the presence of his heart.
The third: a man with a living, prepared heart, the verses are recited to him, so he listens attentively and lends his ear and brings his heart and does not preoccupy it with anything other than understanding what he hears, so he is a witnessing heart, lending an ear, so this is the category that benefits from the recited and witnessed verses.
The first: is like a blind man who cannot see.
The second: is like a sighted person who looks with his sight to a direction other than the direction of what is being looked at, so neither of them sees it.
The third: is like a sighted person who has stared at the direction of what is being looked at and followed it with his sight and faced it with a medium distance of near and far, so this is the one who sees it.
Glory be to Him who made His words a healing for what is in the hearts.
