It is recommended to speak good words and have a cheerful face when meeting someone
Allah Almighty said: "And lower your wing [in kindness] to the believers." Al-Hijr
Allah Almighty said: "And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you." Al Imran
On the authority of Adi bin Hatem, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Protect yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date. If you cannot find it, then with a kind word." Agreed upon
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "A kind word is charity." Agreed upon
On the authority of Abu Dharr, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me: "Do not disdain any good deed, even if it is meeting your brother with a cheerful face." Narrated by Muslim
