Precious Fruits
Benefits of Advice
Firstly: It is one of the greatest reasons for steadfastness in religion: Because the one who advises wants to apply what he has advised, and does not contradict his actions with his words. Allah Almighty said about the Prophet of Allah, Shu'aib: {I do not want to do what I am forbidding you to do. I only want reform as much as I am able.} [Hud: 88].
Secondly: It is evidence of loving others and hating evil for them. In the two Sahihs, from the hadith of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."
Third: The righteousness of society, as virtue is spread in it and vice is concealed in it.
Fourth: Eliminating many evils, as many evils have disappeared because of sincere advice.
Fifth: Implementing the command of God and His Messenger, which is the ultimate happiness and success of the servant in this world and the hereafter. God Almighty said: {And whoever obeys God and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment} [Al-Ahzab 71].
Sixth: It is one of the greatest reasons for guidance, as many disbelievers have converted to Islam because of advice! And how many sinners who committed major sins repented and their condition became upright because of advice! Muslim narrated in his Sahih from the hadith of Sahl bin Saad, may God be pleased with him: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Ali: "By God, if God guides one man through you, it is better for you than having red camels."
Seventh: Absolving oneself of responsibility, as one's responsibility may be engaged, so if the servant advises, he has fulfilled his duty, as God Almighty said: {Your duty is only to convey [the message]} [Ash-Shura: 48]. And God Almighty said: {And the Messenger is not responsible except for clear notification} [Al-Ankabut 18].
