This, by God, is the King
From Shuaib bin Shaaba Al-Masisi, who said: Harun al-Rashid, the Commander of the Faithful, arrived in Raqqa, and the people rushed behind Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak, sandals were torn, and dust rose. A concubine of the Commander of the Faithful looked out from a tower of the wooden palace. When she saw the people, she said, "What is this?" They said, "A scholar from the people of Khurasan has come to Raqqa, called Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak." She said, "This, by God, is the King, not Harun's kingship, which only gathers people with police and assistants."
