لا تجعل بينك وبين الله منعما عليك
قال سفيان الثوري: كان يقال من أراد عزا بلا عشيرة، وهيبة بلا سلطان، فليخرج من ذل معصية الله عز وجل إلى عز طاعته.
قال إبراهيم بن أدهم: لا تجعل بينك وبين الله منعما عليك، إذا سألت فاسأل الله أن ينعم عليك، ولا تسأل المخلوقين، وعد النعم منهم مَغرما.

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
