Precious Fruits
Do not give up on moral virtues, even if you are on your deathbed
It is said that an Arab knight was in the desert on his horse, and he found a lost man suffering from thirst. The man asked the knight to give him water, so he did! The man was silent for a while, and the knight felt that he was ashamed to ask to ride with him, so he said to him: "Will you ride with me and take you where you want to go?" The man said: "You are a truly generous man. Thank you. I wanted to ask for that, but shyness prevented me!" The knight smiled... The man tried to climb, but he couldn't, then he looked down, saying: "I'm not used to riding a horse." The knight had to get down to help the man ride the horse, and as soon as the man got on the horse, he hit it and ran away with it as if he were a professional knight... The knight realized that he had been subjected to theft and fraud,
So he shouted at the thief, saying: "Listen to me, don't tell anyone what you did to me." The thief said to him, "Are you afraid for your reputation while you are dying?"...The knight replied, "No... but I fear that the good between people will be cut off."
Even when you are in the darkest of circumstances, maintain your principles
