سئل أبو حازم فقيل له: "ما مالك؟" قال: "لي مالان لا أخشى معهما الفقر: الثقة باللّه، واليأس مما في أيدي الناس". وقيل لبعض الحكماء: "ما الغنى؟" قال: "قلة تمنيك، ورضاك بما يكفيك.
وقال ابن الجوزي رحمه الله تعالى: "من قنع طاب عيشه، ومن طمع طال طيشه.

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
