Precious Fruits - No Wonder

Precious Fruits

No Wonder

Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said:

- It is not surprising that a slave humbles himself to God and worships Him, and does not get tired of serving Him, with his need and poverty for Him. Rather, the surprise is from an owner who endears himself to his slave with various kinds of blessings, and is affectionate to him with all kinds of kindness, despite his independence from him.

- It is enough honor for you that you are a servant to Him, and enough pride for you that He is a Lord to you.

An example of the birth, growth, and increase of obedience.

An example of the birth, growth, and increase of obedience is like a seed you planted, which became a tree, then it bore fruit, so you ate its fruits and planted its seeds. Whenever something bears fruit from it, you reap its fruit and plant its seeds. And likewise, the consequences of sins occur. So let the intelligent person consider this example. For among the rewards of a good deed is another good deed after it, and among the punishments of a bad deed is another bad deed after it.

May God bless our Prophet Muhammad and all his family and companions.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

Precious Fruits - Resolving Tasks Immediately

Precious Fruits

Resolving Tasks Immediately

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
