ما عالم شـيئا كمن هو جاهله
أورد الإمام الذهبي في سير أعلام النبلاء عن وهيب بن الورد قال كان عمر بن عبد العزيز يتمثل كثيرا بهذه الأبيات:
يرى مستكينا وهو للهو ماقت به عن حديث القوم ما هو شاغله
وأزعجه علم عن الجهل كله وما عالم شـيئا كمن هو جاهله
عبوس عن الجهال حين يراهم فليس له منهم خدين يهازله
تذكر ما يبقى من العيش آجلا فأشغله عن عاجل العيش آجله
وصل اللهم على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Precious Fruits

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
