Precious Fruits
Whoever turns away from something of the truth and denies it
The point is: that whoever turns away from something of the truth and denies it, inevitably falls into falsehood in return for what he has turned away from and denied of the truth, even in deeds. Whoever desires to work for the sake of God alone, God afflicts him with working for the sake of people, so he desires to work for the One in whose hand is his harm, benefit, death, life, and happiness, so he is afflicted with working for one who does not possess any of that for him.
Likewise, whoever refrains from spending his money in obedience to God is afflicted with spending it for other than God, even against his will.
Likewise, whoever refrains from exertion for God is inevitably afflicted with exertion in serving people.
Likewise, whoever turns away from guidance by revelation is afflicted with the trash of opinions, the garbage of minds, and the filth of thoughts.
Let whoever wants to advise himself, achieve happiness, and attain success contemplate this in himself and in others.
