روى أبو نعيم في حلية الأولياء من حديث هارون بن عنترة عن أبيه قال: دخلت على علي بن أبي طالب بالخورنق وعليه قطيفة وهو يرعد من البرد، فقلت: يا أمير المؤمنين إن الله قد جعل لك ولأهل بيتك نصيبًا في هذا المال، وأنت تفعل بنفسك هذا؟ فقال: إني والله لا أرزأ من مالكم شيئًا، وهذه القطيفة هي التي خرجت بها من بيتي، أو قال: من المدينة.

Among the beneficial things is resolving tasks immediately and freeing up time in the future, because if tasks are not resolved, the remaining previous tasks will accumulate on you, and subsequent tasks will be added to them, making their burden heavier. If you resolve everything in its time, you will approach future matters with strength of thought and strength of action.
