Annexing the West Bank
A Rejection of Normalization Arguments and a Slap in the Face to the Advocates of the National Project
The News:
On Wednesday, July 23, the parliament of the Jewish entity, the "Knesset," voted on a draft resolution calling for the imposition of the entity's sovereignty over the West Bank. The aforementioned decision to annex the West Bank, called for by ministers and parliamentarians, was passed by a majority, with 71 out of 120 members voting in favor.
Comment:
Although this decision, as it is said, is not considered a binding law for the Jewish governments, it comes in the context of the measures taken by the entity on the ground, and to serve as a legal cover for what it actually practices in the West Bank, from economic strangulation and closure, to killing and demolition of houses, and from expanding settlements and encouraging the practices of its criminals from the settlers, in procedures that seek in their entirety to undermine the lives of people and displace them, or to confine and concentrate them within a limited geography.
Such a decision places the Ummah before a few inevitable facts:
That this entity as a whole carries the same project and vision, and harbors the same intention towards Palestine and its people, no difference between its parties and politicians, which is based on seizing the land and displacing its people as much as possible, as evidenced by the stability of that policy on the ground for decades, despite the succession and differences of governments.
That this entity's decision is a slap in the face to those normalizers from the treacherous regimes, whether those who preceded in the vice or those who are waiting at its door, and it is an exposure of the falsehood of their lying claim that their normalization with the entity aims to achieve the interests of the people of Palestine, bring their rights and obtain their "state," that normalization that did not rise to the level of interceding to bring a sip of water or a bag of flour to the starving people who are being exterminated. It is worth mentioning that the Knesset itself is the one that voted about a year ago, by a majority, on a decision rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state.
It is a slap in the face to the advocates of the so-called "national project," and a declaration of the deletion of their project that has eroded until only they, their positions, their corruption, and their sacred function in security coordination remain, as well as what they have brought about of crises under which people are suffering, and they are the ones who made all their equipment and tools illusions of international resolutions and their bet on a colluding international system.
The entity, with its decisions and actions, makes matters zero-sum, i.e., with an equation of taking everything, and that survival be for it alone at the expense of the people of Palestine, whether by annihilating them or by their departure, but despite the meanness and corruption in the nature of these people, especially if they become possessors of power and kingdom ﴿OR HAVE THEY A PORTION OF THE KINGDOM? THEN THEY WOULD NOT GIVE MANKIND [EVEN AS MUCH AS] THE NICHE IN A DATE STONE﴾, this matter will make matters also zero-sum for the Ummah, so that it puts it before its responsibilities without deceiving the rulers or circumvention, and without the projects that consumed decades of misinformation, conspiracies and wasting efforts.
