Al-Azhar's Silence and the Echo of Massacres: The Statement of the Incapable Will Not Save Gaza
The News:
Social media platforms ignited with controversy among tweeters after Al-Azhar Al-Sharif deleted its lengthy statement in which the Sheikh of Al-Azhar University Ahmed Al-Tayeb addressed a global appeal for immediate action to save Gaza from the deadly famine. Al-Azhar's statement confirmed that the human conscience is at stake in light of the continued killing of Palestinians in Gaza, warning that everyone who supports Israel with weapons or supports it with decisions is a direct partner in the genocide. However, this statement remained published for only a few minutes before it was deleted from Al-Azhar's accounts on social media platforms, which sparked widespread astonishment among virtual world users. Comment:
After a long silence from Al-Azhar and its scholars about the massacres that make children's hair turn white, which are taking place within a stone's throw of them, and after nearly two years of killing and starving the people of Gaza, until the situation recently reached death by starvation on top of their death by killing and abuse, and after the voices of the people of Gaza were hoarse as they appealed to their neighbors for help, and they lost hope in their rescue, so they contented themselves with calling for the opening of the Rafah crossing... and after... and after... the zeal stirred in Al-Azhar and its scholars, so they issued a pale statement that can only be issued by an incapable person!
Al-Azhar addressed an urgent global appeal to the "free and influential forces of conscience" to work immediately to save the people of Gaza from a deadly and widespread famine imposed by the Jews, as if Al-Azhar is placing itself outside this appeal, having no relation to it, and not concerned with it, but rather as a humanitarian institution distant from Gaza as the distance between the East and the West! Its statement almost matches the statements of the hypocrite of Turkey, Erdogan, who said: "Humanity is dying in Gaza, and children are suffering from severe hunger amid a lack of aid, calling on societies to establish an immediate and continuous moral position," and considered it "a full-fledged genocide."
This cowardly position is in line with the position of Al-Azhar, which stressed that "targeting shelters for the displaced and aid distribution centers with live bullets is a crime." It also affirmed that "everyone who supports Israel with weapons or decisions is a partner in this crime," warning with repeated phrases such as: "The wrongdoers will know what a reversal they will be reversed into." This position is in harmony with the position of Erdogan, who is conspiring against Gaza and supporting the Jews, who also said: "Those who remain silent about the genocide in Gaza become partners with Israel in its crimes against humanity," calling for a clear international humanitarian position "to express rejection of injustice."
Both of them, Al-Azhar and the hypocrite Erdogan, speak in the language of the absent and the sender, as if the crimes that are taking place in Gaza do not concern them, and are not their responsibility, but rather the responsibility of others who are conspiring against the people of Gaza, in the international system and its organizations! Al-Azhar has sufficed itself with attacking international silence and the lack of humanitarian responsibility, and condemned the global disregard for what is happening in Gaza, without attacking the silence of the Egyptian regime, the slumber of its army, and the silence of its scholars about inciting the army of Kinana to fight the Jews, as if they had not read His saying: ﴿O Prophet, urge the believers to battle.﴾!
Despite these pale statements, treacherous declarations, and cowardly stances, the Jews and their supporters from the rulers of Egypt were not satisfied even with this level of betrayal and cowardice, so they ordered the scholars of the sultans in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to return to their slumber and silence, and withdraw their words that some might imagine are fiery, so they swallowed their tongues without shame before God or His servants. How could they not, when they fear the disbelievers more than they fear God Almighty! As He Almighty said: ﴿Have you not seen those who were told, "Restrain your hands [from fighting] and establish prayer and give zakah"? But then when fighting was ordained for them, at once a party of them feared men as they fear Allah or with [even] greater fear.﴾.
The reason for the Jews' rejection and condemnation of even these pale positions is not because they are bold or terrifying to them, for they know that they are merely statements to save face, issued only after pressure from the Muslim street, which is boiling with anguish for its brothers in Gaza. Therefore, those who issued these statements had to issue something to calm the people, not with the intention of inciting the armies to jihad, which is what truly terrifies the Jews. They only addressed the speech to unknown parties, or parties that are already biased towards the Jews, but the Jews fear that these whispers may one day develop into sincere and loyal voices that call on the Muslim armies to move immediately, overthrow the thrones, fight the Jews, and liberate the countries and people from their evils. This is what scares the Jews and the rulers of the Muslims.
If the scholars of Al-Azhar were truly serious and sincere to God, they would have clarified to the people the Sharia ruling, and the clear path that actually leads to breaking the borders, which has become clear to every sighted and insightful person, which is: overthrowing the thrones of the rulers who are loyal to the Jews and Christians, and installing a righteous caliph who rules according to what God has revealed, and mobilizing the armies to cleanse the blessed land from the impurity of the Jews.
But alas... alas... the scholars of Al-Azhar - except for those on whom my Lord has mercy - have agreed to be with the rulers of harm, so they have become scholars of sultans, not scholars of religion, and they have become like the clergymen from the People of the Book, of whom God Almighty said: ﴿And [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.﴾!
