Ballot Boxes in the Corrupt System are the Biggest Deception for Change
Since America occupied it in 2003 until now, Iraq has been mired in problems, and its condition is getting worse, all of which is the result of the political map formulated and imposed by the American occupier. It laid the basic rules of the system and drew the political map of the country, and deceived the Iraqi public that the solution to the problems generated by this system is the ballot boxes. Therefore, it is no surprise that the US envoy to Iraq, Mark Savaya, congratulates the Iraqis on the success of the parliamentary elections, stressing that "the Iraqi people have once again demonstrated their commitment to freedom, the rule of law, and strong state institutions!" Thus, the Iraqis fell into the trap of deception and continued to change some faces without paying attention to the root of the disease and the origin of the scourge that caused all these problems. Therefore, the situation worsened, and the people of Iraq remained in a ship of wandering, tossed about by waves of confusion and anxiety.
After more than 22 years and the end of the voting for the sixth electoral cycle on Tuesday, 11/11/2025, we are still witnessing the majority of the people of Iraq being stung from the same hole over and over again, and with their despair of all the parties and political blocs that stole the country and humiliated the people, but they go to the same hole and get stung from it again, and are dragged along sectarian, nationalistic and tribal lines, only to return after that to curse the hour they went to the elections!
O People of Iraq: We have explained repeatedly and in every cycle, before and after it, that the cause of your problems is the corrupt system, and the solution cannot be through it, and we have explained above that the sanctity of this act is nomination and election, because the House of Representatives is a legislative council, it is a tyrant who legislates without God, that tyrant whom God Almighty has commanded us to disbelieve in, then you claim after every failed cycle that you are regretful and you only wanted reform, and God Almighty answers you by saying: ﴿Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, wanting to appeal for judgment to Taghut, while they were commanded to disbelieve in him? And Satan wants to mislead them far astray. And when it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger," you see the hypocrites turning away from you in aversion. So how [will it be] when disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forth and then they come to you swearing by Allah , "We intended nothing but good conduct and accommodation." Those are the ones of whom Allah knows what is in their hearts. So turn away from them and advise them and speak to them a far-reaching word.﴾.
It cannot be said here that there is no escape from choosing those whom we see as righteous so that the corrupt do not monopolize power. No, it cannot be said that because it is a fallacy and far from reality. Choosing the righteous person in the corrupt system is corrupting the person and not reforming the system. Then, what righteousness is this when he is running for a council that opposes God and His Messenger by legislating without God and is governed by a constitution of disbelief imposed by the American occupier?!
O People of Iraq in general, and O People of Power and Might in particular: The effective treatment and the legitimate solution is to work hard to uproot this corrupt system and establish God's law in the Khilafah state according to the method of Prophethood. So gather your affairs and be with the sincere people of your nation, who are working to resume the Islamic way of life. Hizb ut-Tahrir calls you to this great good so that you may remove the humiliation from your necks and return as the best nation, as your righteous predecessors were.
