Trump Wants to Entrap Hamas in the Division Trap!
Since the United States returned to the Palestinian scene strongly, especially during Trump's era, it became clear that it is not seeking to resolve the conflict, but to reshape it in a way that serves the project of controlling the Jewish entity and dismantling the unity of Palestinian decision-making. The most dangerous thing produced by this path was the attempt to drag Hamas into the division trap under glittering titles such as reconstruction, de-escalation, economic development... and others.
Trump, and the Zionist lobby behind him, realized that striking the resistance with weapons had not succeeded, and that dismantling its structure could only be done from within, by creating a separatist reality that would establish the idea that Gaza is an entity independent from the West Bank. Hence began the political and economic pressures: a financial siege on the Authority, and promises to Gaza to open crossings and ports and rebuild, provided there is a long period of calm.
This offer appears humanitarian on the surface, but it carries a dangerous project, as it makes de-escalation an entry point for division, and turns Hamas from a resistance movement into a local authority that governs according to imposed international rules. This is the American-Zionist plan that Trump clearly formulated in the Deal of the Century, besieging the resistance with threads of funding and international pressure.
The division trap is not set with maps only; when the Palestinian is pushed to think about improving living conditions instead of liberating the land, the occupation becomes the real victor. Hence comes the danger of the interim compromises that turn the principle into an interest, and make the rifle a negotiating tool, not a liberation tool.
Today, the resistance stands before a decisive test: will it be able to remain so, or will it sink under a suspicious international umbrella?
Preserving the unity of the resistance is not an emotional choice, but a condition for the survival of any liberation project. The conspiracy is not only in the American traps, but in the shameful Arab and Islamic silence, and in the exhausted consciousness that receives defeat as fate.
We must realize that the most dangerous thing America wants is to tempt Gaza to secede, so that Palestine remains a dream divided between geography and interests.
The division project will not fall with bidding wars, but with awareness, position, and resistance. Unless the resistance, and with it all the Palestinians, realize that the unity of the land is more important than the authority of governance, then the occupation will gain by cunning what it failed to gain by weapons.
