Letter to the Iranian Ambassador in Lebanon (2011)
Hizb ut Tahrir
A book from Hizb ut-Tahrir - Wilayah Lebanon, addressed to His Excellency the Ambassador of the "Islamic Republic of Iran" on the occasion of his visit to the party's officials in Lebanon. The book clarifies the party's position on the Republic of Iran, its regime, and its internal and external policies.
مقدمة / Introduction
To His Excellency the Ambassador of the "Islamic Republic of Iran" in Lebanon, And through him to the esteemed senior rulers in the Republic, Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you, Based on your request to meet with us, the officials of Hizb ut-Tahrir - Wilayah Lebanon, we have decided to present you during our meeting with the following advisory book, in which we briefly clarify our position on your republic, its regime, and its internal and external policies. It should be noted that Hizb ut-Tahrir sent a delegation to Iran in 1979 to congratulate them on the overthrow of the Shah's regime and to submit a memorandum containing our advice. Then another delegation returned in the same year carrying a draft constitution, which it presented to the committees that were working on drafting a constitution for the new state. We know that your current Iranian regime was established after the success of the revolution in overthrowing the tyrannical Shah's regime in 1979, which followed in the footsteps of the traitor Mustafa Kemal, the destroyer of the Caliphate, in Westernizing the Muslim community in Iran and attaching it to the wheel of the infidel Western civilization, which is based on foundations that contradict Islam in its entirety. The Iranian revolution at that time revived hopes among the Islamic nation that, if it were to resolve its affairs, it would be able to regain its usurped authority from the tyrannical rulers who have dominated it with the help of the infidel colonial West, and thus take control of its affairs.خاتمة / Conclusion
We do not need to remind you that Hizb ut-Tahrir builds its view on all of this on the basis of Islam, a pure and unadulterated view, untainted by nationalism, patriotism, sectarianism, or factionalism, seeking the pleasure of God Almighty, adhering to His rope, and holding fast to the guidance of His Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and sincere and خالصadvice for Muslims and those who live with them from other religions. It is by the grace of God upon the party that it works with the nation and with Muslims wherever they are found, without any consideration contrary to the creed and law of Islam. The party directs its call to every Muslim wherever he is, inviting him to work with it to support this religion, exalt the word of God, and bring people out of the worship of people into the worship of the Lord of people. If the brothers in Iran have a sincere intention to discuss these matters with honesty and transparency, then welcome, and they will find that our hearts and minds are open to serious discussion aimed at supporting this religion and exalting the word of God. As for stopping at superficial treatments and formal courtesies while distancing oneself from pure Islamic policy, it will only increase the Iranian regime's distance from us and from the rest of the nation. Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you. Dr. Muhammad Jaber Head of the Administrative Body of Hizb ut-Tahrir - Wilayah Lebanon Saturday, 20th of Ramadan 1432 AH Corresponding to August 20, 2011 CE
