The Starting Point for Hizb ut-Tahrir

Hizb ut Tahrir

The booklet 'The Launching Point' of Hizb ut-Tahrir discusses how the party has successfully passed through its most dangerous and delicate initial stages. It is on its way to becoming a party that imposes itself on society, becoming active within it, bringing about a comprehensive intellectual and emotional revolution, as it is on its way to the launching point. It has become imperative for it to address the nation and work within society. Although the launching point comes naturally according to the party's progress, it is dangerous and delicate, requiring a successful attempt that leads to an inevitable launch. This attempt is of great precision because it passes through storms occurring in society. The party's successful passing through this attempt is what leads to the launching point stage.

مقدمة / Introduction

In this stage, the party faces obscurantists, those imbued with foreign culture, and the ruling factions head-on. It does not want them, intend them, or consider them its enemies, but rather focuses on the colonizing infidel, because he alone is the enemy of the nation. In this stage, the party also confronts other organizations of various collective forms, but it does not target them or concern itself with them, because even if they are knots in society, they are knots that will naturally unravel as the call penetrates the nation. In this stage, even though the party is constantly working to develop itself steadily, build its structure soundly, and purify its essence completely, it must carry out four actions: continue with focused culture, collective culture, and move forward to adopt the interests of the nation and expose the colonial plans to the people.

خاتمة / Conclusion

Therefore, the party must be aware of colonialism, the paths it takes, and the methods it uses, and expose them to the people, and make the entire nation aware of the colonizing infidel and his ways and methods. The party must also know that - while at the launching point - it begins to confront this colonialism, because the party will address the people, adopt their interests, and expose the colonial plans. In this case, colonialism will not stand idly by, especially when its plans are exposed. Therefore, a point of direct friction with the colonizing infidel occurs, and this may lead to his attempt to clash with the party, but he has prepared himself to make Muslims clash with each other and has adopted this as his plan, so he will make factions of citizens clash with the party and will persist in this plan. He will not confront the party except in his despair, and only when he is fighting in the last trenches he owns and carrying the last weapon he has. Therefore, the party must avoid clashing with citizens absolutely, and make the clash between colonialism and the entire nation, not with the party alone, and therefore the party had to make the entire nation the party, melt it with Islam, and make its absolute trust in the party, and focus its conscious obedience to it, and its leadership to it, and to the principle that carries its call, which is Islam. Thus, the nation marches in one row with awareness and understanding, and in strength and momentum, like a sweeping hurricane. And the real battle is between the nation, or rather between all citizens, and colonialism, until every trace of it is removed. This transformation of the battle from a battle between the party and colonialism to a battle between colonialism and citizens is inevitable and natural. It requires the party to expose to the nation the vile animosity that its colonizing enemy harbors against it, the malicious conspiracies it concocts against it, and the terrible intrigues it weaves for it, to humiliate it, then annihilate it, and eliminate its principle. Thus, the nation as a whole, together with the party, has taken on the task of carrying the Islamic call and resuming Islamic life by establishing the Islamic state, and removing from its path everything that stands as a barrier to that.
