Recognition of the Palestinian State Between the Karama Crossing and the Halls of the United Nations!
News:
By order of the Prime Minister of the Jewish entity, the closure of the Karama crossing, the only land crossing that connects the people of the West Bank to the outside world, was announced on Tuesday, starting on Wednesday, according to several agencies.
Comment:
A few days ago, many countries at the United Nations in New York gathered for a conference on the recognition of the Palestinian state. While misleading propaganda was being fabricated through the media at that celebration, claiming victory for the rights of the people of Palestine, and then the season ended, the practical reality is what was and still is actually happening on the land of Palestine. For every step in the so-called two-state solution project, even if its procedures have not stopped for a day, the entity initiates steps to turn the lives of the people of Palestine into extreme misery, the latest of which was the closure of the Karama crossing.
With the severe suffering that the closure of the crossing entails for the people of the West Bank, in addition to their existing suffering, the closure of the crossing, like the closure of cities and villages to isolate them from each other, as well as the dozens of measures that the Jews are taking on the ground where people live under fire, siege, killing, starvation, land razing and confiscation, all of this carries a perception of the nature and essence of the two-state solution project if it is achieved.
If this is the behavior of the Jewish entity and its reaction to the idea of a Palestinian state that has the recognition of most countries in the world, including major countries that have weight, then what guarantee will that small state have against the aggression of the occupation in the future, and how will the life of that alleged state be next to the Jewish entity? Don't thirty years or more of dealing with the Authority, which resulted from agreements signed by the entity itself and devoted itself to serving it, give an idea of the nature of life for a state next to it?
The paradox is that the guarantees in the proposals for recognition of the Palestinian state were not guarantees taken from the entity, but were required from that small state that is intended to be invented in its favor, knowing that it is the aggressor and voracious party for decades.
The state that they are trying to portray as the "dream," and as the end to suffering, is in the details and in reality much worse than it is on paper. It will only be a Western-modified version of the current Authority, and its relationship with the entity will essentially be one of subjugation, dependency, and security function, with all the hardship and humiliation that it entails, especially since it will not possess the elements of life and will only be given artificial respiration, and under the mercy of the occupation.
The question here is, is that state really what the people of Palestine deserve after decades of suffering? Will it end their suffering? Does it really guarantee their living next to that savage entity? What guarantees that its fate will not be like the fate of the first version of it, which is the Authority? Is it, as they claim, a single solution, or is it, assuming it happens, an exacerbation of the Nakba and the tragedy? Not only for the people of Palestine, but for the entire region, by establishing that entity?
