Democratic Elections Are Nothing But the Whispers of Satan
(Translated)
News:
On September 13, 2025, the presidential election campaign in Zanzibar officially kicked off, with the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi, and the opposition party, the Alliance for Change and Transparency, launching their election campaigns. Chama Cha Mapinduzi emphasized "stability," "peace," and "unity," while the Alliance for Change and Transparency prioritized accountability, equality, and economic opportunities.
Comment:
The election campaign period in Tanzania ends on October 28, 2025, with October 27, 2025, being the voting day for the Zanzibar elections, while Wednesday, October 29, 2025, will be the voting day for the Tanzania elections, according to the National Independent Electoral Commission of Tanzania. These are the fifth multi-party elections since Tanzania decided to adopt multi-party democracy in 1992. This year's elections seemed similar to previous elections, with a prevailing state of apathy, facing boycotts, and the presence of skeptical sentiments that considered the elections neither free nor fair, given the failure to implement electoral reforms.
The issue of democracy and everything related to it, such as participating in and supporting democratic campaigns and their elections, is clear in Islam. Islam prohibits voting for a non-Islamic system, and it is not permissible to implement it or call for it. In a broader perspective, it is not permissible to implement, participate in, adopt, or call for any system that contradicts Islam.
Legislation and governance in Islam cannot be derived from a man-made system, such as democracy, which is a capitalist political system, but must be from Allah Almighty alone. Therefore, any political, social, or economic system that is not based on Islamic Sharia has no place in Islam and must be rejected. In fact, the general public, whether in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Africa, or the world as a whole, realizes that democracy has failed them. Moreover, there is no difference between the ruling party and the opposition, as all democratic political parties are based on the same foundations of the secular colonial capitalist ideology based on self-interest, exploitation, and the separation of religion from people's lives.
The majority of African countries are governed, with the exception of a few countries like Tanzania, by what were previously called opposition parties, yet nothing has been achieved in them. Despite all this, Africa is considered the poorest continent despite possessing abundant natural resources, which Western colonizers seize for free, through neo-colonialism, via the politicians we elect from time to time under democracy!
Africa and the world do not need deceptive secular elections that only serve an exploitative colonial agenda without bringing about any real renaissance for the people.
The alternative principle and political system must come from Islam. Under Islam, which is a revelation from God, Islamic political leadership will be established in Africa, under the global Caliphate. Then Africa and the world will be freed from the shackles of evils and the exploitative democratic political system, and will witness true leadership and rapid development, unlike the destruction, backwardness, extreme poverty, and exploitation brought by the colonial invasion at the end of the nineteenth century AD until now.
