Elections in Egypt... When participation turns into an endorsement of falsehood!
News:
Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper said on Tuesday, 10/21/2025, that the Nation's Future Party is holding large conferences in the governorates to encourage people to vote in the elections.
Comment:
Today is so like yesterday. The same scenes are repeated before every election: crowds are gathered, speeches are given, and promises are woven from threads of illusion, as if people are only remembered at the time of the ballot boxes! Then, as soon as the votes are over, the long silence returns, and the crises remain as they are, or even more severe. Isn't this party part of the current authority? Isn't it the one that has been running people's affairs for years? So how can it speak today as if it were the alternative or the savior?! They appear at election time to share the same cake. In a scene repeated before every election, the Nation's Future Party has begun organizing mass conferences in the governorates to urge people to participate positively in the upcoming elections. It raises bright slogans about stability, supporting the state, and national duty, at a time when people know that the results are predetermined, and that the ballot boxes are not a tool for choice, but rather a means of beautifying the face of the regime both domestically and abroad.
These mass conferences are nothing but scenes from a political campaign whose main goal is to mobilize support for the existing regime and create a media scene that suggests the existence of political life, while the truth is that these are elections run from inside the corridors of power, in which loyal parties are used as a cover to adorn tyranny and pass Western hegemony through local tools.
It is clear that the Nation's Future Party was not established to express the interests of the people or to express a real intellectual current, but rather it is a tool to fill a political vacuum and gather loyalties within the framework drawn by the regime itself. All its movements, statements, and activities revolve around the idea of supporting the political leadership and standing behind the president, which are phrases in which all politics is reduced to the person of the ruler, and the will and interests of the people are abolished.
Rather, this party plays the role of a civil facade for the security regime, as it undertakes political and social tasks aimed at absorbing popular anger and directing it towards safe paths that do not affect the structure of government. Therefore, its phrases are repeated in every governorate: "Go down and participate," "Your vote is a trust," "For the sake of stability and development," while what is really meant is: Grant legitimacy to the regime so that it can continue to rule you with other than what God has revealed.
Under the current regime that rules by disbelief and takes its orders from the West, elections cannot be a means of change, because the basis on which the political process is built is not Islam, but democracy, which makes sovereignty for the people, not for the Sharia, and legislation is in the hands of humans, not God. Thus, elections turn from a means of holding the ruler accountable to a means of consolidating his power, and a tool for beautifying tyranny.
The regime uses participation in these elections to promote its false legitimacy. It is said to the world that the people have chosen, while the truth is that the security services are the ones who choose, direct, and control, and the party is just an implementer of those directives in the field. Judgment in Islam is not derived from ballot boxes or from the popular will, but from the texts of revelation. God Almighty said: ﴿The decision is only for Allah﴾.
The regime that excludes God's law from governance and keeps the laws imported from the West, it is not permissible to support it or participate in its institutions, because that is considered helping it in falsehood and تثبيتاً for it in power. The scholars have agreed that whoever helps an oppressor in his oppression or helps him remain in his falsehood has participated with him in sin. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever helps in a dispute with injustice has incurred anger from God." Therefore, participating in the regime's elections or calling for them - as the Nation's Future Party does - is not an obligatory act as promoted, but rather a legal disobedience because it grants legitimacy to a rule by other than what God has revealed, and cuts off the road for the nation to change its reality according to Islam.
The Egyptian regime, like all regimes in Muslim countries, derives its legitimacy from the West, not from the nation. The West is always keen to conduct formal elections that show the regimes in the appearance of democratic countries, to justify its political and financial support for them in front of its peoples, while these regimes remain completely subject to its interests and policies. Thus, slogans of freedom, participation, and elections are used as a cover for the continuation of dependency and hegemony, and not to achieve the will of the nation. Therefore, we see that the call to participate comes only from the regime itself, through its media, parties, and institutions, because in reality it is not a call for change, but a call to accept the reality and beautify it, and to تثبيت regimes that rule by other than Islam and plunder the wealth of the nation.
The duty upon Muslims today is not to go down to the ballot boxes run by the tyrannical regimes, but to work hard to overthrow them and establish the Rightly Guided Caliphate according to the method of Prophethood, which derives its legitimacy from Islam, and rules with the rulings of Islam in all aspects of life, and makes the authority for the nation rightfully, and sovereignty for the Sharia alone. The path to change does not pass through democratic elections, but through the awareness of the nation and its alignment around the complete project of Islam, and the performance of the duty of enjoining good and forbidding evil, and holding the rulers accountable on the basis of the Sharia, not on the basis of false election programs.
O sons of Al-Kinana, and O honorable people of Egypt, the regime that brings you out every few years to clap and beautify the scene of the elections is the same one that impoverishes you with its economic policies, coordinates with the Jews in Palestine, and prevents you from the word and dignity. So do not be a help to it against yourselves, and do not give it legitimacy that it desperately needs.
O soldiers of Egypt, you are the sons of this nation and part of its body, so do not make yourselves a fence that protects corrupt regimes that rule by disbelief. Your legal duty is to support the religion of God, and to stand with the nation to restore its usurped authority, by supporting those who work to establish the state of Islam that rules by the Sharia, unites the nation, and liberates the country from foreign influence.
The mass conferences organized by the Nation's Future Party and other parties are nothing but chapters from a recurring political play, intended to delude people that participation is obligatory, while the truth is that it is an endorsement of a secular regime that lacks legitimacy. Therefore, the clear legal position is to boycott these elections, expose their falsehood, and direct efforts towards serious work to resume Islamic life by establishing the Rightly Guided Caliphate, through which alone justice is achieved, dignity is preserved, and injustice is lifted from the nation.
﴿O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.﴾
