The Syrian Regime Kowtows to America with Much Servility
News:
The official Syrian news agency published footage of Latifa al-Drubi, wife of Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara, receiving Susan Cooper, wife of the commander of the Central Command of the American army Admiral Brad Cooper, at the People's Palace in Damascus. The report stated that they had a conversation about humanitarian and social issues of common interest, reflecting the role of women in building bridges of understanding between peoples.
In another report, the agency stated that al-Shara and Admiral Brad Cooper discussed "prospects for cooperation in the political and military fields, in a way that serves common interests and strengthens the foundations of security and stability in Syria and the region."
Comment:
Why all this kowtowing from the Syrian regime led by Ahmed al-Shara to America?!
Why does the Syrian president involve his wife in receiving the wife of an American military commander responsible for controlling the Middle East region, or in other words, responsible for its occupation?
Why does the Syrian president's wife discuss humanitarian and social issues (of common interest), reflecting the role of women in building (bridges of understanding) with the wife of this military commander who is only concerned with consolidating American military control over Syria and the region?
What benefit is gained from such trivial meetings other than appearing in front of cameras that suggest the intimacy of the relationship between Syria and America? And showing that they are loving, allied, and friendly, even though America is the first major country in opposing Muslims and embracing the Jewish entity.
This America, this criminal state that supports the Jewish entity with all its might to occupy the region and dismember it, is it reasonable that there should be bridges of understanding and common issues between us in all aspects of life, as the president's wife claims?!
Isn't there another way for Arab rulers to deal with America other than begging, servility and pleading?
Are the rulers of Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, and other countries of the world that challenged and confronted America more courageous than our rulers? Or is the truth that these non-Muslim rulers are not subordinate and agents as Muslim rulers are?!
