Al-Sudani Describes the Bombing of Qatar as a "Shocking Event" and Calls for the Declaration of an "Islamic Alliance"

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani condemned on Sunday, September 14, 2025, the Israeli bombing of Qatar, calling for the establishment of a unified Islamic alliance to confront the aggression. Al-Sudani described the bombing, in a statement followed by "Baghdad Today," as a shocking event and a violation of all international laws and norms, stressing that it confirms the aggressive approach of the criminal Israeli government. He considered that this attack is a transgression against a sister country and a threat to its security and the security of all countries in the region. In the context of confronting this threat, Al-Sudani called for the declaration of an Islamic political, security, and economic alliance for Islamic countries, pointing out that there is nothing to prevent Islamic countries from having an alliance in the form of a joint security force for defense. The Prime Minister warned that "the aggression will not stop at Qatar," stressing that Islamic countries have "several cards that can be invested to stand up to it," adding that "the Israeli government has underestimated everything, and what is happening in Gaza for more than two years is systematic killing." The shocking event is an emergency that surprises a person, group, or nation without them being prepared for it, causing them a disturbance in behavior. If they do not have a basic intellectual foundation for every thought, and treatments and solutions to life's problems, they will remain in a disturbed life.
The issue of the Jewish entity's bombing of Qatar and Al-Sudani's call to declare an Islamic alliance to confront the aggression leads us to an important question: Is the Jews' aggression against an Islamic country a new thing?! Or did it begin since the declaration of the establishment of the Jewish entity in 1948, but since the overthrow of the Muslims' state, the Ottoman Caliphate, and its division into more than fifty weak states and the imposition of the British Mandate on Palestine, and then handing it over to the lowest of God's creatures, the Jews, according to theatrical wars such as those that took place in 1948, 1956, and 1967, and the formation of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the League of Arab States so that the issue of handing over Palestine would be official, and also the formation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which diverted minds from the real solution to all the problems of Muslims, and because of which Palestine was lost and rulers who do not observe in them any bond of kinship or covenant were imposed on the necks of Muslims?
Therefore, every Muslim should correct his compass and work with those who are working to resume Islamic life by establishing the Caliphate on the method of Prophethood, which mobilizes armies, removes the artificial borders between Muslims, liberates the occupied Islamic countries, especially the land of the Isra and Mi'raj, protects the borders, and spreads justice and prosperity throughout the globe. God Almighty said: ﴿And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds﴾.
