What Hizb ut-Tahrir Warned About Is Now Being Said by Media and Press Professionals
News:
In a tweet by the editor-in-chief of the famous Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper, the prominent media figure, Mr. Ahmed Al-Balal Al-Tayeb, says: (After nearly ten hours have passed since Hemedti took the oath in Nyala as the head of a founding government, I say in one sad sentence: Whether we want it or not, whether we like it or not, whether we agree or disagree, whether we magnify the event or belittle it, I say to those who cheered, and to those who mocked, and to those who supported, and to those who opposed, farewell to a unified Sudan! With all regret, the second separation in Sudan has practically begun, after the bitter first separation of South Sudan, and I will not add more).
Comment:
Hizb ut-Tahrir; the pioneer whose people do not lie, has always been the stark warner, who warns politicians, rulers, media professionals, scholars, all elites, and the general public of the country, of the plan to tear Sudan apart with new Sykes-Picot borders, in the color of blood borders through agreements and the ignition of wars, and the creation of crises and strife among the people of Sudan, to prepare the stage for the second tearing apart, as America did when it engineered and sponsored the secession of South Sudan with the Machakos and Naivasha agreements. At that time, the party warned all the ruling elites, politicians, and media professionals, of the danger of proceeding with these agreements that would tear Sudan apart. Rather, the entire political center (government and opposition) met this with great disapproval and ridicule, and described Hizb ut-Tahrir as singing out of tune, and they ruled out the secession of the South, until the axe fell on the head, and Sudan was divided. Hizb ut-Tahrir was like Zarqa al-Yamama, who warned her people of the enemy's attack, and that she saw a tree moving, but they did not believe her, and they ignored her warnings, so the enemy attacked and destroyed them.
Here I recall what the journalist Amina Al-Fadl wrote in the Sudanese daily newspaper Al-Hayat, issue 686, dated 3/3/2003, entitled "Hizb ut-Tahrir and the Truth of the Prophecy": "In mid-2003, Hizb ut-Tahrir issued a statement entitled: "Self-determination... A Right or a Crime?" It dealt with the Machakos Framework Agreement, which it considered a dangerous precedent, indeed one of the most dangerous things that Sudan has ever experienced. This precedent is the right to self-determination or "secession," and Hizb ut-Tahrir supported its argument with prophetic hadiths, and clarified the danger of this trend that entrenches the dismemberment of the country, and opens the door for other regions and areas to demand the right to self-determination, without the government being able to reject these demands; because it has established this precedent with the South. Hizb ut-Tahrir went further than that when it advised the government to disavow the Machakos agreement as Garang disavowed it, warning the government that appeasing Garang and his movement during the transitional period would not deter him from secession; because he is a man of rebellious nature, and he is lying if he says he is a unionist, trying to take advantage of everything to attract membership to his movement.
This was a warning from Hizb ut-Tahrir before the signing of the peace agreement, which has become a reality but is not lived for reasons known to everyone, the first of which is Garang's provocations and arrogance, and not the least of which is the demand for a secular state in whose cities the call to prayer is not raised.
We are now living the realization of what Hizb ut-Tahrir predicted, and if the government had responded to the advice of the wise, everyone would not have licked their fingers in regret after the signing, as Garang has become like a soap bubble that no one can hold, and he has already begun, before the terms of the agreement are implemented on the ground, to exploit this opportunity and buy time by promoting his movement, which has turned, by the power of the Almighty, into a political party that came from the thickets of the southern forests to sit in the seats of the Republican Palace, even without bothering to register this strange political party, and why not? This is your time, you farces, so rejoice!!".
This is what the journalist Amina Al-Fadl wrote on that date, and today comes the tweet of the veteran media figure Ahmed Al-Balal Al-Tayeb in the same context, confirming what Hizb ut-Tahrir has always warned against and mobilized and urged everyone to stand on the right side that spares us the dangers of sliding into division and dismantling.
Hizb ut-Tahrir announced in its press conference on Saturday, 8/16/2025 (A Call to the People of Sudan, Save Darfur So That It Does Not Join the South), appealing to scholars, media professionals, and people of strength and protection and others to play a role that prevents this disaster, and foils America's plan to tear Sudan apart in its second version. So, should we strive to seize the initiative and restore the usurped authority of the Ummah by establishing the Khilafah, the state of unity and the impregnable fortress against the realization of the West's hellish conspiracies? "Indeed, the Imam is a shield, from behind whom you fight, and by whom you are protected."
