Clashes Between Pakistan and Afghanistan Leave Dozens Dead in Hours!
The News:
Pakistan and Afghanistan have both announced the deaths of dozens of soldiers in violent clashes on both sides of their border. The latest clashes began on the evening of Saturday, October 11, 2025, in a swift operation by Afghan Taliban forces against Pakistan. They announced that their forces had successfully carried out military operations against Pakistani security forces in response to repeated violations and airstrikes by the Pakistani army on Afghan territory, especially on a popular market in eastern Afghanistan.
The spokesman for the Afghan government, Zabihullah Mujahid, said that 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this operation, and that his country will defend its people and its land. While the Pakistani army said that it killed or wounded more than 200 Taliban fighters and related terrorist groups, in shelling, raids and precise strikes, and Pakistan threatened Afghanistan with a stronger response to the attack carried out by Afghanistan against it. The fighting between the two countries has temporarily stopped through Saudi-Qatari mediation, and the crossings between the two countries have been closed.
Comment:
Colonialism left artificial borders between the fragile countries it established to defend its interests, and the borders were one of the most important reasons for the outbreak of clashes between them. Perhaps the Pakistani-Afghan border is considered a model for igniting crises between these countries, especially Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the border line separating them is called (Durand), and it was established by Britain during its control of the Indian subcontinent to make Afghanistan a buffer state between its influence in India and the influence of Russia, which had ambitions in that region. These artificial borders came to tear apart the communication between the Pashtun tribes who live on both sides of the border, and to create fertile ground for the establishment of armed tribal militias separate from the authority of the state, and with a strong popular incubator that feeds them with fighters.
America later exploited this complex border reality between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and directed the Pakistani army to engage in futile combat operations that do not stop against those militias under the pretext of fighting terrorism, to distract them from their issues such as the liberation of Kashmir.
After the return of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan and the withdrawal of the American occupation forces from it, border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan increased, reaching the point of clashes that threaten the outbreak of a comprehensive war between them, especially the adherence of their political leaders to national identity, and the distance from the idea of unity and unification between them on the basis of Islam.
Therefore, it was strange to find that relations between Afghanistan, a Muslim country, and countries hostile to Islam such as China, Russia, and India are improving and developing in all fields, while its relations with Pakistan, which is its sister in religion, language, and tribal ties, are getting worse, and reaching the point of estrangement and war!!
The complete solution to the problems of the two countries and their ongoing conflict lies only in Islam, adhering to its rulings, and adhering to its creed. Returning to Islam means moving towards unity, integration and strength, and distancing oneself from Islam creates conflict, strife, fragmentation and weakness.
