On the 76th Anniversary of its Occupation: East Turkistan Appeals to the Islamic Nation
News:
October 1st: The 76th anniversary of China's occupation of East Turkistan.
Commentary:
That was in 1949 when China occupied East Turkistan and has since committed the most heinous crimes against its people, according to thousands of leaked documents that condemn and expose China's crimes, which responds to these actions by saying that it is fighting terrorism.
China has prepared camps in which it detains the people of Turkistan and claims that they are camps for rehabilitation, education and combating terrorism. Camps in which the people of Turkistan are uprooted from their Islamic culture and infused with a culture of atheism and communism. It is working to transform this people into a part of atheist China and combat Islam.
In East Turkistan, throughout these long decades, Muslims have suffered greatly from the arrest of women, the removal of their veils, and the assault and rape of them, and forcing them to have abortions and depriving them of their husbands and children. Children have not escaped the crimes of China, which is working to deprive them of their families, brainwash them, and rehabilitate them by saturating them with the culture of atheist communist China. It seeks to bury the coming Muslim generation and turn it into an atheist generation that has no connection to Islam and its people.
In a new step that comes within a comprehensive plan led by the Chinese Communist Party under the slogan "Chinese Islam compatible with socialism," scholars and preachers were arrested, Qurans were burned, mosques were demolished and turned into bars and nightclubs, and Arabic words and religious symbols were erased from public places.
In a relentless effort to eradicate the identity of a people that has been resisting and not surrendering for decades, China has doubled its methods of persecuting the people of East Turkistan and has perfected its methods of torturing them until they renounce Islam. Despite what this people is facing, it stands in its face with the weapon of its faith, patience and belief. This people whose Qurans have been burned, but the hearts of its children are full of the Quran, memorizing it. This people who hold on to their religion like holding onto embers, burn with all kinds of oppression and injustice, and appeal to the Islamic nation to rise up to support them and rid them of the clutches of this ferocious dragon. Is there anyone who will respond?
On this 76th anniversary, the Association of International East Turkistan Organizations, in cooperation with 17 other organizations, organized a massive protest in front of the Chinese Consulate in Istanbul, to strongly express their rejection of the occupation and ethnic cleansing, and to affirm their stand in the face of the Chinese occupier. Will such demonstrations put an end to this silent genocide? Will China stop its hands from the people of Turkistan with demonstrations or boycotts of products?
What is happening in East Turkistan is a silent genocide of a people who say "My Lord is God," a genocide that is added to what is happening in Gaza, Myanmar, Kashmir and other Muslim countries. It translates the collective extermination that the Islamic nation is exposed to in cold blood and under the eyes of the world, and there are no mourners for its children, for they are like orphans at the tables of the mean.
Have the sons of the Islamic nation realized that their religion and civilization are what the infidel West and its supporters are targeting? Have they realized that it is a war of civilizations: the civilization of the infidel West is desperately trying to eliminate the civilization of Islam and is working to bury it. So where are you, O sincere sons of the nation, O you who bear witness that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God? Where are you while these people connect their night with their day, plotting and fighting your religion?! When will the blood of zeal for the religion of God boil in your veins, so you rise up as one man, supporting the religion of God, raising its banner, and taking revenge on its enemies?!
