Is Conspiring Against the People of Palestine Sisi's Stance, Supported and Praised by the Sheikh of Al-Azhar?!
News:
The Sheikh of Al-Azhar delivered a speech at a celebration commemorating the Prophet's birthday, in the presence of Sisi. At the end of his speech, he addressed him specifically, saying: "We in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif stand by you and pray to God to strengthen your back and to grant you success in what you are pursuing of steadfastness in the position rejecting the dissolution of the Palestinian cause, protecting the rights of the Palestinian people to remain on their land, and the categorical rejection of displacement conspiracies, and adherence to the historical Egyptian position in protecting the Palestinian cause and supporting the Palestinians." Comment:
Sisi's position on the Palestinian cause and the war of extermination in Gaza in particular, which the Sheikh of Al-Azhar praises and asks God to keep him steadfast on, is a treacherous and conspiratorial role. It is following in the footsteps of his predecessors in neglecting Palestine and its people, conspiring against them, protecting the Jewish entity, concluding treacherous agreements with it, and implementing the plans and projects of their mistress, America. These are the constants they have maintained and continue to maintain. Everyone with a mind understands the reality of the Egyptian position and the treacherous role played by Sisi, who was a tool to control the pace of aggression, pressure the people of Palestine, and force them to their knees. He played the role of mediator between the entity and the Palestinian factions, pressuring them to make concessions and to proceed with solutions to liquidate the cause. He tightened his siege on the Gaza Strip by closing the Rafah crossing, its only window to the world, and did not allow a crumb of bread or a drop of water to enter them except what the Jewish entity allowed to enter in shows, hoping they would absorb people's anger. He did not move a single soldier to support the people of Gaza, but in the midst of the war of extermination in Gaza, he concluded a gas agreement with the Jewish entity. Is this the position that Al-Azhar and its Sheikh support?!
The Prophet ﷺ says: "The scholars are the heirs of the prophets." And he also says: "There are two groups if they are righteous, the people will be righteous, and if they are corrupt, the people will be corrupt: the scholars and the rulers." It was more appropriate for the Sheikh of Al-Azhar, who is called the "Grand Imam," to take a position that pleases God and His Messenger, not to appease treacherous rulers, and to propose solutions that do not rise to the level of the real solution to the Palestinian cause! Throughout history, the scholars of Egypt have played a pivotal role in the issues of the nation, leading it and speaking the truth openly. The positions of Al-Izz ibn Abd al-Salam are famous and well-known in that regard. Since its inception, Al-Azhar has been a beacon of jihad against invaders and occupiers, and scholars in it have led revolutions against injustice and colonialism. Why doesn't it return to its former glory?!
It is more appropriate for you, O Sheikh of Al-Azhar, instead of seeking a solution to the Palestinian cause from the Security Council and the international system, and instead of appeasing Sisi and being cowardly about speaking the truth, it is more appropriate for you and all the scholars in the Muslim countries to present the real and only solution to liberate Palestine and support the people of Gaza, which is to overthrow the thrones and move the armies, and work to establish the Caliphate that will move them.
O scholars of Al-Azhar and all Muslim scholars: Fulfill the covenant of God that He has taken from you and do not be like the rabbis of the Jews who broke their covenant with God Almighty ﴿AND [mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture, "You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price. And wretched is that which they purchased.﴾.
