The Two-State Solution Deception for Palestine
"A BELIEVER IS NOT STUNG TWICE FROM THE SAME HOLE"
A Call to the Muslim Ummah
The ongoing tragedy in Gaza, and throughout the blessed land of Palestine, represents a mirror reflecting the Ummah’s pride, dignity, and sacrifice, as well as reflecting the deep wounds the Ummah has suffered since losing its protective shield; the Khilafah.
It is a mirror that reveals the blatant hypocrisy and double standards of the colonial powers, and exposes their deep hostility towards Islam. International law and its institutions have shown their true colors as powerless and worthless, and completely subservient to the agendas of those powers.
Gaza has also revealed, with painful clarity, the betrayal of the Muslim rulers around the world, who, instead of defending Palestine, have aligned themselves with their colonial masters, shackling the Muslim armies, suppressing the peoples' demands to open the borders, and guarding the Jewish entity as it continues its crimes of extermination and starvation.
Nevertheless, the people of Gaza have persevered under the most difficult conditions, and have refused to surrender. Nor has the Ummah been silent, but has embodied the words of the Prophet ﷺ: "The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for one another is that of a body; when any part of it aches, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever." Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.
The Colonial Trap Called the Two-State Solution
At this critical moment, the same colonial powers that planted the Jewish entity are returning to market what they call a "solution" by establishing a Palestinian state alongside it, with France, Britain, Australia, and others recently announcing their support for this plan.
But these are the same countries that created the Jewish entity, armed it, funded it, and protected it since its inception, and continue to provide it with diplomatic cover and supply it with weapons and money that enable it to commit its crimes. The Ummah must remain vigilant and not fall into the trap of despair and exhaustion that drives it to accept a colonial solution that grants it temporary relief, while the usurping entity remains in control of the blessed land. The Prophet ﷺ warned us, saying: "A believer is not stung twice from the same hole." Narrated by Bukhari.
To believe that their calls for a two-state solution are motivated by concern for the Palestinians is a dangerous naivety. Their motives are purely political, aimed at absorbing the growing public anger at their complicity in war crimes, and preserving their strategic interests in the region. This is secular politics at its ugliest: dirty, corrupt, and inhumane.
Why the Two-State Solution is Not a Solution?
The two-state plan does not liberate Palestine, but entrenches the occupation. It grants legitimacy to the Jewish entity, and secures its existence, in exchange for a powerless Palestinian authority without real sovereignty; that is, it reproduces the status quo.
Under this arrangement, the Jews will retain control over borders, resources, and the movement of people, and will continue to receive military and financial support from the colonial powers, with the Arab states playing the role of guards for its security. This plan also provides an opportunity for the colonial powers and the Arab states to wash their hands stained with blood and crimes.
Behind this geopolitical reality, this project serves another dangerous goal: consolidating a culture of realism and defeatism within the Ummah, and training successive generations to accept partial concessions, which encourages the enemies of Islam to demand more, and distracts the Ummah from the only path to liberation.
A Clear Islamic Vision
Allah ﷻ says: ﴿O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection while they have disbelieved in what came to you of the truth, having driven out the Prophet and you﴾.
As the Ummah continues to awaken, we must stand firm and not weaken or compromise or walk in the footsteps of realism that prolongs suffering, even if the intentions are sincere to alleviate people's suffering.
Allah ﷻ said: ﴿And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it]﴾, and He ﷻ said: ﴿So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers.﴾
The two-state solution is false, it does not achieve liberation or dignity, but rather entrenches submission under an imposed colonial system, and the Ummah must reject it outright.
Our duty is not limited to resisting the oppression of the Jewish entity, but includes working for the comprehensive liberation of Palestine. This requires more than demonstrations or negotiations; it requires mobilizing the Muslim armies and establishing the Khilafah according to the method of Prophethood.
The Khilafah is not a theoretical ideal, but a tried and tested system under which Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived in safety, justice, and peace. It is the only framework capable of ending the occupation, uniting the Ummah, and removing the colonial presence from our lands.
The two-state solution is a trap aimed at calming the Ummah and ensuring the survival of the Zionist project. Our response must be clear and decisive: rejecting this false solution, and committing to the only path that guarantees liberation; establishing the Khilafah, and harnessing the resources of the Ummah to liberate all of Palestine.
History will record whether we stood firm on the truth or whether we succumbed to compromise. We ask Allah ﷻ to grant the Ummah insight, unity, and victory.
