The State Committee for National Security in Kyrgyzstan Organizes a Sham Display

Against the Dawah Campaign in Batken Province

The State Committee for National Security in Kyrgyzstan organized a sham display against the Dawah campaign in Batken province, and announced the arrest of 12 Muslims on charges of "extremism," accusing them of "establishing and financing an extremist organization."

According to the information, nothing was found in the homes of the Dawah carriers, who were learning and conveying Islam to the people, except for religious books, phones, and laptops, and nothing else. During the arrest, the forces treated them in a manner unbecoming of human dignity and conducted a sham display against them.

Previously, residents of Batken province held protests demanding the release of six young men who had been previously arrested on charges of extremism. The protesters affirmed that the detainees were concerned about the people during the pandemic and the border incidents, and provided constant assistance to needy families. They also emphasized that the charges of "extremism" were unjustly attributed to them, and that elements of the agencies are trying - with false accusations - to portray them as criminals.

The special services have previously carried out such illegal acts in the city of Bishkek, and in the Issyk-Kul and Naryn provinces as well. The arrests there were accompanied by various illegal practices, such as kidnapping, electric shock in temporary detention centers, and pressure on their families.

Likewise, the former presidents used "combating extremism and terrorism" as a weapon to conceal their failure to manage the country, and to distract people's attention from the political and economic crises in the state. For example, Atambayev used the same method in 2014 under pressure from Russia, before bringing the country into the Eurasian Economic Union, which brought no benefit to the people, and then began a campaign to arrest Muslim women. As for Jeenbekov, who inherited power from Atambayev, he also continued, under pressure from Russia, and in order to obtain aid from international organizations, his war against Islam and Muslims, including women.

Here is the Japarov government, which has not learned from the fate of previous governments, following the same approach today, continuing its war against the Dawah carriers.

Before coming to power, he had promised to solve the energy sector problem, and to make Kyrgyzstan a lending state instead of a borrowing one within five years, but these promises were forgotten, so prices rose sharply, the standard of living of the people decreased, and unemployment increased. However, instead of addressing these problems, the authority is waging a war against Islam and Muslims under the pretext of "extremism."

The renewed injustice of the authority towards the youth who bear the burden of Dawah is not a passing matter; as the approach of winter, with the increase in electricity outages and rationing for ordinary people, while it is provided without interruption to the mining sites that consume huge amounts of energy, all of that has increased the people's anger towards the authority. In addition, society's dissatisfaction with the illegal violations committed by Chinese people inside the country has grown. In addition to that, the date of the parliamentary elections is approaching, which prompts the authority to take additional measures.

This is also indicated by what President Sadyr Japarov wrote on his Facebook page, where he said: "We will not allow a coup to happen, and from now on you will only see the coup in your dreams," as he also tried to intimidate people by saying that the security services have become stronger than before.

Accordingly, we warn those who are tightening the pressure on Islam and increasing the injustice against Muslims by the saying of Allah Almighty: ﴿HE SAID, "I ONLY COMPLAIN OF MY SUFFERING AND MY GRIEF TO ALLAH, AND I KNOW FROM ALLAH THAT WHICH YOU DO NOT KNOW."﴾.

O Honorable Muslims, we repeat and reiterate to you: Attend the court sessions in which your Muslim brothers are being tried based on these false charges, or speak with the relatives of those who are being tried, then you will know who these men are, and you will witness the injustice of the security services with your own eyes.

As for the security elements, they say that they are only carrying out orders, and they have not seen any bad actions from the detainees. If that is the case, then who is issuing the orders for this injustice?! Has the temporary seat of power become higher in their eyes than the blessing of this world and the hereafter?! No ruler throughout history has come out against Allah, His religion, and the Muslims except that he perished!

Allah Almighty says: ﴿AND NEVER THINK THAT ALLAH IS UNAWARE OF WHAT THE WRONGDOERS DO. HE ONLY HOLDS THEM IN SUSPENSE FOR A DAY WHEN EYES WILL STARE [IN HORROR].﴾.
