Another Chapter in Submitting to American Hegemony
Tunisia's preparation to host the new edition of the multilateral naval exercise "Phoenix Express 2025" comes during this November, which is the exercise that the United States Africa Command has been organizing annually after the current authority in Tunisia implicated our country by signing a military cooperation agreement with the United States on 09/30/2020, which was expressed by the US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper as a roadmap that lasts for ten years.
This agreement represents a step in the practical implementation of the agreement signed by the authority of Beji Caid Essebsi, which stipulates accepting Tunisia's status as a strategic ally of America from outside NATO, in order to support its policy in the face of "our strategic competitors China and Russia" with their "bad" behavior, according to the US Secretary of Defense.
In this regard, we recall that we in Hizb ut-Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia clarified during the signing of this dangerous agreement that the matter goes beyond the traditional agreements, as America is drawing up a huge project that requires 10 full years to complete, and that the roadmap, according to America's claim, relates to monitoring borders, protecting ports, combating extremist thought, and confronting Russia and China, and this means, with all impudence, a detraction from Tunisia's sovereignty, but rather it is direct tutelage over our country.
We have also called on every occasion to end this military presence on our land, which gives the enemy practical experience of great importance, the results of which are reflected on the lives, blood, and honor of Muslims. We have affirmed on every occasion the sanctity of cooperation with the enemy in times of war, especially after October 7, 2023, when America revealed its hostility and contempt for the blood of Muslims from Gaza and the West Bank to Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, and Syria, but rather betrayed its patron Qatar as well as Hamas, and openly supported the Jewish entity in every place in the Muslim world that its treacherous hand reaches.
Accordingly, we in Hizb ut-Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia, despite the harassment, arrests, and military trials that our youth are subjected to as a result of our speaking out for the truth, reaffirm our call to dismantle this ominous colonial agreement, which is intended to drag the country and the entire Islamic Maghreb countries and adapt them to the malicious American policies, as we repeat our appeal to the people of power and strength in our country and in all Muslim countries to be aware of what the enemies of the nation are plotting against them and luring them into, and that the legal duty requires them to support their religion and repel the enemy lying in wait for their country and their nation, and to exalt the word of God by supporting those who work to implement His law and establish His state, the second Khilafah Rashidah state on the method of Prophethood, promised soon by God's permission. God Almighty said: ﴿AND ALLAH WILL CERTAINLY HELP THOSE WHO HELP HIM. INDEED, ALLAH IS ALMIGHTY, EXALTED IN MIGHT.﴾.
